Room Creation by EIA #1
I created this conceptual master bedroom design using neutral, clean lined furniture pieces. The queen size bed is from Calligarts. It combines a veneer/faux coffee colored leather with a wedged finish. It emphasizes versatility through it's sleek design and functionality while providing comfort and compatibility through its neutral color palette. It comes in 5 different frames/headboard combinations and can be combined with a variety of furniture pieces to create a romantic ambience.
The Hayworth Nightstands are from Pier One and are named after the legendary actress. They exemplify glamor, yet they are practical & functional. Handcrafted, hand-painted and covered with hand-cut beveled mirrors, this piece adds a custom touch into any area.
The Hamptons 5 Light Chandelier comes from Crystorama. This piece features polished chrome arms with a siler silk shummer glass surrounding. The single tier chandelier is modern and contempary and complements the clean, sophisticated look of the space.
The painting on the wall is called Imaging You by artist Mark Becker. According to his Facebook page "Mark Becker is an abstract expressionist artist and architectural designer who works in a variety of media ranging from painting, functional art furniture, sculpture, and photography to high-end residential architecture and interior design." * His unique use of form & soft palette add a splash of color to this neutral space.
Marta Sansoni Catus! Photo Frame has been placed on top of the nightstand as an accent accessory piece. The punched metal and polished stainless steel (18/10) construction adds an illuminating quality to the bedside. It can be placed vertically or horizontally as needed.
As an example, single 20" x 20" throw pillow (Metallik), by KoKo Company, is centered on the bed to tie in the neutral color palette to the lively artwork. The pillow is a vibrant blue (indigo) and grey pattern made of a print and wool crewel embroidery on 100% natural cotton/flax.
